About traffic conditions in the surrounding area

Rustica's Oshu base is in front of Isawa Dam. It is about 30 minutes by car from "Mizusawa Station" and about 35 minutes by car from "Mizusawa Esashi Station" where the Tohoku Shinkansen stops. It is 30 minutes by car from each interchange, "Hiraizumi Maesawa Interchange" is 30 minutes, "Oshu Interchange" is 22 minutes, and "Kitakami Kanegasaki Interchange" is 30 minutes. Both are accessible on relatively flat roads.

There are no public transportation such as buses and trains near the base, so please come by car or rental car.

☆ When coming from Sendai City, Hiraizumi, Osaki City, Fukushima

The recommended route is to go north on the Tohoku Expressway, get off at the "Hiraizumi Maesawa Interchange", take Prefectural Route 302, and turn left from FamilyMart to National Route 397. The estimated time from Sendai is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

☆ When coming from Morioka / Kitakami / Aomori

We recommend going south on the Tohoku Expressway, getting off at the "Kitakami-Kanegasaki Interchange", taking Prefectural Route 302, and turning right from FamilyMart to National Route 397. The estimated time from Morioka is 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Please come to Mizusawa Esashi Station and rent a car or take a taxi from there. It takes about 35 minutes by car.

Please come to Mizusawa Station and rent a car or take a taxi from there. It takes about 30 minutes by car.

It is about 55 minutes by car from Hanamaki Airport. We recommend that you come by rental car.
